Salim Abdul Rashid Khan (born on 24 November 1935) is an Indian actor, film producer and screenwriter. [1] . He wrote the screenplays, stories and scripts for numerous Bollywood films. Khan is one half of the prolific screenwriting duo of Salim–Javed, along with Javed Akhtar.

Salim Khan is a trained pilot and got a private pilot’s license in 1958. Before adopting the career as Script Writer, he had worked in about 11 films as a junior actor. However, he did not get credit for most of his roles.
