Apr 18, 2024 · For the third time in a row, BJP has opted for Mahesh Sharma as their Lok Sabha candidate, as he has previously won both the 2014 and 2019 elections by over two lakh votes and was also the first-ever MLA from Gautam Buddha Nagar Vidhan Sabha. Mahesh Sharma also contested the 2009 Lok Sabha elections from the same seat in an unsuccessful attempt.
