Karthik Sivakumar (born 25 May 1977 [1] ), known as Karthi, is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. He has won three Filmfare Awards South, an Edison Award, two SIIMA Award and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award .
Karthi is a popular Tamil actor and singer who has won several awards for his films. He is the younger brother of actor Suriya and married to Ranjani Chinnasamy.
Karthi is the son of veteran actor Sivakumar and has a degree in engineering. He debuted in 2007 and starred in several successful films, including Kaithi, Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, and Ponniyin Selvan.
