Kangna Amardeep Ranaut ( pronounced [kəŋɡənaː raːɳoːʈʰ]; born 23 March 1987) is an Indian actress and filmmaker who works primarily in Hindi films.
She is one of the youngest Indian actresses to win the National Film Awards at the age of 22, Best Supporting Actress for Fashion (2008). She went to New York for her scriptwriting course but had to leave it midway; as she had to return to India to promote her film ‘Queen.’.
