Dec 14, 2021 · I was 15 when Karan Johar’s second directorial venture, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, released in 2001.For reasons I won't get into here, I didn’t get to see the film until a few years later, so I had to rely on the generosity of my classmates for details on the Hogwarts-sized Raichand mansion, the sartorial flair of the characters and the distinctive attitude of the inimitable ‘Poo’, all of which I eagerly lapped up.
Synopsis. Yashvardhan "Yash" Raichand (Amitabh Bachchan) is a filthy rich and opulent real estate tycoon, living with his loving wife Nandini (Jaya Bachchan) and their two sons, Rahul and Rohan. Rahul is adopted whilst Rohan is their biological son. Rahul feels indebted to his parents when he finds out at the age of eight that he is adopted.
