Enthiran ( transl. Robot) is an Indian Tamil -language science fiction film series directed, produced and written by S. Shankar. The music for the films was composed by A. R. Rahman. It consists of a two-part film series. The first film was Enthiran which released on 1 October 2010 and the second film was 2.0 , which released on 30 November 2018.
