David John Hussey (born 15 July 1977) is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer. Hussey is a right-handed batter and can also bowl right-arm off breaks. He is the younger brother of former Australian cricketer Michael Hussey. He was captain of the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League.

David Hussey is a former Australian cricketer and the younger brother of Michael Hussey. He played for Australia in ODIs and T20s, and for various T20 teams around the world.

- Following in his brother’s footsteps. David is two years younger than his brother Mike Hussey, the man known around the world as “Mr Cricket”. Much like Mike, David too had to score truckload of runs before getting a call-up to the national side.
- The Bushranger. Though he was born in Western Australia, David made a name for himself playing for Victoria. Making his First-Class debut for the state in 2002-03, David plays for the side even now.
