Daren Julius Garvey Sammy OBE (born 20 December 1983) is a Saint Lucian cricketer who played international cricket for the West Indies. He is currently serving as the head coach of the West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket.
Daren Sammy is the first international cricketer from St Lucia and the first to be named West Indies captain. He led West Indies to two T20 world titles and also played franchise cricket in PSL and CPL.
