The only way a virus can get to you is if the torrent itself has a virus in it (as would be the case for any torrent). YTS.mx, like with other yts clones, just give you mp4s which afaik don't/can't have viruses.

I think I’d still rather go for a slightly larger 1080p version over the 4K YTS one though if file size was an issue. YIFY Sucks bro, if u need quality use QxR, UTR etc... U can find em on 1337x.

I mean most people start ejaculating at a 1080p rip that is 1.5 gb and 720p rip that is 700 mb without even looking at the quality of picture. YIFY has done his work well. Jul 23, 2021 · I'm not saying yify is the only one guilty of such encodes. At the same time, I do think that yify has a legitimate place in the piracy community. Not every pirate has the data caps, internet speed, storage, or patience required to watch something at ultra high quality. They're pirates. They're trying to save money.
But YTS is like 1.5-2GB. If you download two files and compare YTS to something bigger, you can definitely see the difference, especially when it’s a dark scene, you can like see the pixelation. Jun 16, 2020 · After YIFY was down, many copycats appeared, with the current one we know that still stands, YTS. However, they have improved their encoding settings substantially, using higher bitrates in their releases, and are even pushing 5.1 audio in their 1080p along with 4K releases (which I'm not covering in this post due to lack of time and the fact they haven't released too many 4K movies yet).

Yeah for movies I don't personally care for I use them. Most people in my family can't tell if my copy of Ferris Bueller's Day off is the 10 GB original blueray rip or the compressed 1.6 GB version. But for big cinematic movies like the Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises, I said fuck it and spent 150GB on two movies because they're awesome and visually stunning movies
