Feb 22, 2022 · I have been using the paid version of DFX for years and recently switched to the FX version. But after the last FX update, it no longer works when I configure my ASUS Zonar sound card for 5.1 channel surround sound. When I use FX with my 5.1 configuration, all I hear is “outer space” hum. Changing my soundcard back to stereo works as expected. Going back to 5.1 gives only an electronic droning noise. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but 5.1 still won’t work. Jun 26, 2022 · Hi, I’ve been using DFX audio enhancer for almost a decade and love it. I have recently had to do a fresh install of windows on the same drive. However, when I register and input my serial, the DFX app crashes OR throws up errors and then crashes. If I don’t register, I’m not able to minimise the app to the tray which is really annoying. I’m not a fan of the new FX sound enhancer, as it no longer supports some of the features of the DFX audio enhancer. Is there anyway to fix the ...

However I got a new computer now and figured I’d go with the newer, allegedly better FxSound software. From the user interface I must say it’s super nice to use and the sound quality is also great.
