    How dandruff is formed as per Ayurveda? The dryness of the skin is contributed by Vata Dosha. Excessive oily scalp also causes dandruff. Oiliness is caused by Kapha Dosha. Hence, dandruff has involvement of Kapha and Vata Dosha.
