      • She was originally designed as a bombshell based on Lara Croft, but her appearance was ultimately altered to resemble a teenage girl instead. When Kim Possible premiered in 2002, Kim was well-liked by both female and male audiences and has since been positively received by critics as a positive role model for young women.

Kim Possible is an American animated action comedy [ 1 ][ 2 ][ 3 ][ 4 ] television series created by Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle for Disney Channel. The title character is a teenage girl tasked with fighting crime on a regular basis while coping with everyday issues commonly associated with adolescence.

    • To start off, Kim was voiced by Christy Carlson Romano and Ron was Will "Eric Matthews from Boy Meets World" Friedle. AKA the best cast ever.
    • Also, Kim and Ron's friendship destroyed the concept of the friend zone.
    • It was a show where the female characters totally defied gender norms.
    • But it was also totally OK to be girly (i.e. Kim being a cheerleader) and it showed that you could be traditionally feminine and strong at the same time.
    • She Inspired A Generation of Text Tones
    • Kim's Parents Were The. Coolest.
    • Rufus Was The Naked Mole Rat You Actually Wanted
    • Wade Was Awesome... and He Never Left His Room
    • Even The Villains Gave Us Goals

We all know at least one person who has had (or still has) the Kim Possibletone as their text tone. And why not? It's awesome. Plus, we now have video chat on our phones too. Kim was just ahead of the game.

They never questioned Kim's whereabouts, and always understood the important parts of raising a teenager.

Have you ever seen a real naked mole rat? Yeah, they're pretty weird looking. But Rufus was not only cute, but also hilarious. I would share my Nacos with him anytime.

Wade probably had a severe Vitamin D deficiency. However, he was a genius behind a computer with a tech job that some Kim Possiblewatchers will probably find themselves in today. I mean... We did grow up in the age of evolving technology, right?

Their tough, flawed, and sarcastic personalities actually made these villains cool. I've never enjoyed watching a villains storyline play out more.

Did anyone else get insanely hungry while watching this show? Seriously, I would've ordered a Naco every time they ordered one. Because this show really did understand the beauty that is study break trips to Taco Bell.

Odds are you've answered the phone saying "What's the Sitch?" at some point in your life. Or maybe you've screamed "Boo Ya!" — Because, why not? People really need to start saying these things again.

It's no wonder why Ron didn't want to go back! If there's one episode of Kim Possiblethat you remember... It's probably this one.

Ron can be a cheerleader. Kim can fight bad guys. Her mom can be a surgeon. It didn't matter, and it never should. And Kim Possiblealways knew that.

Kim definitely didn't go to an all-white high school. And, no matter what a character's skin color or background was, they were accepted. Way to go, Disney!
