Some of them let me copy text either before I save the file as .pdf or after I print shipping label from same printer dialog box. Some of my shipping receipts let me copy text and some don't. I have copy text enabled in Adobe Reader.

May 1, 2017 · If I double click i can get some areas to turn blue and can copy them. If I keep clicking it will turn the whole page blue but cannot copy that. I just can't use the hand tool to select the text that I want and copy it. The pdf was made by me in the appraisal software. adobe reader dc 17.009.20044
May 17, 2021 · Hello, Try this... Go to Organize Pages... Select the page you want to copy, note the blue line next to the page. your short cut keys will work with this to. go to the document\\page where you want to paste the copied page to. Done! Regards, Mike
Nov 23, 2015 · Thank you, try67! I haven't seen before the option for the tabs in preferences but now I fixed it. And for the copy/paste problem I wasn't able to select the text (I couldn't see the option for the select tool, it was on hand tool) but it was my bad, it is just right click with the mouse and it's there.
Jan 20, 2012 · The problem is NOT Adobe. Adobe needs a file location and the items that you save to "clipboard" are NOT files. So, open up a blank sheet in Word and from "clipboard" (windows+v), copy (control+v), then save to the file location of your choice while changing the "File Type" to PDF, instead of Word Doc. WDTJR. Oct 18, 2011 · The problem: The vector pdf, created with the application Acrobat Distiller 17.0, it says under File Properties, looks fine, including the fonts. The problem is only with copying: some fonts get missing: E.g.: "The idea" (as displayed on the pdf) becomes "e Idea" when pasted. As in another comment above: "Copy with Formatting" solves the issue.
Jan 3, 2020 · Hi, I'm having this issue and it's incredibly frustrating. My copy/paste simply doesn't work anymore for form fields, even though it worked hours ago. In both documents I have Prepare Form activated, but the form fields simply don't copy or paste, no matter if I use keyboard shortcuts, right-clicking the mouse, or using the Edit menu. Please help!
