Jan 13, 1995 · Karan (Salman Khan) and Arjun’s (Shah Rukh Khan) evil uncle, Thakur Durjan Singh (Amrish Puri), has them murdered over a land dispute. True to their mother Durga’s (Rakhee Gulzar) faith and desire, the two brothers are reincarnated, and come back to avenge their death, twenty years later.
After witnessing the brutal murder of her sons Karan and Arjun by the merciless Durjan Singh, Durga seeks refuge in a Goddess Kali Temple praying for her sons' rebirth. Fast-forward 18 years and her sons are reborn with different identities, Karan as Ajay and Arjun as Vijay.
