Nimbus Film is Denmark's third largest film production company. Nimbus Film has to date produced more than 30 feature films and many shorts and documentaries.
Nimbus Film was established in 1993 by producers Birgitte Hald og Bo Ehrhardt. Since the beginning the company has handled popular quality films, often in close cooperation with the directors. Nimbus was behind two of the original four Dogme 95 films: Thomas Vinterberg's "The Celebration" (1998) and Søren Kragh-Jakobsen's "Mifune" (1999).

Nimbus Film er et selvstændigt, uafhængigt, produktionsselskab, som i 1993 blev etableret på Nørrebro. Efter en årrække i Filmbyen i Avedøre og på Hauchsvej 17 på Frederiksberg, er Nimbus Film igen at finde i det indre København, nu med adresse i den tidligere porcelænsfabrik B!NGS på Vesterbrogade 149, 5. sal, BG9, København V.
I 1995 formulerede Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, Søren Kragh-Jacobsen og Kristian Levring Dogme95. Se certifikat (http://www.dogme95.dk/) Den danske nybølge satte fokus på historien og skuespillet og satte dansk film på verdenskortet. Nimbus Film har i alt produceret 4 Dogme film; FESTEN, MIFUNES SIDSTE SANG, EN KÆRLIGHEDSHISTORIE, SE TIL VENS...
Vi har en 2-årig producerassistent-trainee-ordning (scooter-ordningen). Stillinger slås op efter behov. Du er velkommen til at kontakte os for yderligere spørgsmål.
Vi tilbyder hvert semester praktikpladser til studerende indenfor forskellige grene af filmproduktion, bl.a. som producerassistent, reader, multimedieassistent. Virksomhedspraktik kan tilbydes efter nærmere aftale med jobcenter. Vi tilbyder desværre ikke elevpladser eller praktik til folkeskoleelever i øjeblikket.
