The Osmangazi Bridge (Turkish: Osmangazi Köprüsü) is a suspension bridge spanning the Gulf of İzmit at its narrowest point, 2,620 m (8,600 ft). The bridge links the Turkish city of Gebze to the Yalova Province and carries the O-5 motorway across the gulf.
The Osman Gazi Bridge was the world's fourth largest suspension bridge with a span of 1,550 meters when it opened. It crosses the Gulf of Izmit in Turkey. Construction started in 2013 and the bridge opened in 2016. The bridge was designed by Dissing+Weitling, who also designed the Øresund Bridge.

Jul 12, 2016 · The Izmit Bay Bridge – now called the Osman Gazi Bridge – is almost 3km long has a free span of 1,550m between its pylons. The pylons are made of steel and have a height of 250m. The overall construction required around 85,000 tonnes of steel and about 125,000 m3 of concrete. The bridge was designed by Japanese contractor IHI and Cowi.
