For providing the cashless treatment coverage on the analogy of Ayushman Bharat to the left-out families, the State is implementing Mukhya Mantri Himachal Health Care Scheme (HIMCARE) since 1st January, 2019. Under HIMCARE Scheme, cashless treatment coverage up to Rs. 5.00 lakh per year per family is being provided in the empanelled hospitals.
Beneficiary name was in the list of Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and a Golden Card was made under the scheme immediately and his treatment was given free of cost. The beneficiaries family has thanked the Honble Prime Minister, Honble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh and Honble Health and Family Welfare Minister, Himachal Pradesh for this scheme.

Under the Himachal Swasthya Bima Yojana, the state government started the HIMCARE on 1st January 2019. It aims to provide affordable healthcare to its beneficiaries.
