Adrian Sutil (German pronunciation: [ˈaːdʁiaːn zʊˈtiːl]; born 11 January 1983) is a German racing driver who raced in Formula One for seven seasons: from 2007 – 2011, then 2013 – 2014. He drove for the Spyker F1 Team, Force India F1 Team and the Sauber F1 Team.
Sutil’s F1 career started in 2007 with Spyker, and he remained with the team through its transition to Force India. Prior to his Formula One debut, Sutil was praised by Lewis Hamilton , a future world champion and his former Formula Three teammate, who acknowledged Sutil’s significant influence during their time together.

Sutil sat out 2012 and his conviction for injuring Eric Lux, CEO of Lotus owners Genii Capital, in a bar in Shanghai in 2011, cast doubt on whether he might return. But he secured a comeback to F1 with his former team in 2013 after Hulkenberg switched to Sauber.
Force India clearly saw talent, as they kept Sutil on and off until 2013. He grew with the team and helped turn them from being the slowest car on the grid, to regular point’s finishers. With age came experience and consistency, and Sutil was without doubt Force India’s leading man.
