The Osman Gazi Bridge was the world's fourth largest suspension bridge with a span of 1,550 meters when it opened. It crosses the Gulf of Izmit in Turkey. Construction started in 2013 and the bridge opened in 2016. The bridge was designed by Dissing+Weitling, who also designed the Øresund Bridge.

A beautiful bridge that revolutionized transportation from Istanbul to Bursa. With this bridge, and the new highway that connects the new Istanbul airport to Izmir, it is no longer necessary to take ferries, but you can conveniently pass and go to Yalova and Bursa on the other side of the coast.
