S. A. Chandrasekar (born 2 July 1945) is an Indian film director, film producer, screenwriter, and actor who primarily works within Kollywood. He made his directorial debut with Aval Oru Pachai Kuzhanthai (1978), He got his breakthrough with Sattam Oru Iruttarai (1981).
Some of his notable movies include “Naan Sigappu Manithan,” “Deva,” “Rasigan,” and “Nenjirukkum Varai.” In the early 2000s, he shifted his focus to business interests, including hotel construction. Chandrasekar made a return to filmmaking, directing his 70th film, “Capmaari,” in 2019.
