The Swiss-model Workspace is accessible via the ExPASy web server, or it can be used as part of the program DeepView (Swiss Pdb-Viewer). As of September 2015 it has been cited 20000 times in scientific literature, [ 5 ] making it one of the most widely used tools for protein structure modelling.
DeepView – Swiss-PdbViewer has been designed to work under different operating systems (Macintosh, Windows, Linux, Irix 6.x), i.e., the commands mentioned in this manual apply to all versions of the program.
To display a molecule, simply drag a Pdb file onto the Swiss-PdbViewer icon (or main window for PC), select "Open" item from the "File" menu, or select one of the recently opened proteins that appear at the bottom of the file menu.
