Guitarist Brian Willoughby is best known for his time with Strawbs and work with Dave Cousins, as well as playing for Mary Hopkin and Nanci Griffith. His new solo instrumental album “Twiddly Bits” demonstrates his guitar virtuosity and ability for composition.
Twiddly Bits is a 19-track instrumental album with Willoughby playing all the instruments, with a little help from Craig, Danny McGeevy (whistle), Niall Quinn (bodhran) and Dennis Bryon (drums). It is an incredible accomplishment.

Brian has played "twiddly bits" for a great many well-known artists. Starting out on guitar in his native Northern Ireland at the age of 14, he crossed over to the UK, ending up in Hounslow in West London as an habitué of the White Bear and running his own folk club at Regent Street Polytechnic.
