I've been a wee bit stupid and bought a steam account instead of a key, pretty sneaky but it's my fault I didn't read everything. It's sent me to a page called getmyacc . com. I've gotten the account and changed email/pasword and added an email authenticator to my personal email.

I read carefully and saw it said 'GLOBAL' which is a keyword that applies specifically to game keys and it said steam account, so I felt safe that it was a key that I could use for my steam account, and not a key for epic or some other platform.
I bought a very cheap copy of what I thought was COD: Black Ops 3 but I actually bought a whole steam account. My question are: Can my main steam account count face repercussions?

Aug 18, 2010 · If you enter a steam key of a different copy of the same game you already own, your steam key won't be used. It will say that you already own the game. The exception is when the game is included with others game in a bundle, in this case the key would be lost.
