Uckfield (/ ˈ ʌ k f iː l d /) is a town in the Wealden District of East Sussex in South East England. The town is on the River Uck, one of the tributaries of the River Ouse, on the southern edge of the Weald.

Jul 9, 2018 · Uckfield is an attractive market town combining classic values of strong community spirit and friendliness with all the modern necessities of life. The town is situated on the southern boundary of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), with the Ashdown Forest nearby; the River Uck meanders through the lower part of the town.
As well as the usual High Street favourites and supermarkets including Waitrose and Tesco, Uckfield is, like many Sussex towns, packed with antique stores and charity shops. There is plenty of arts and culture here, too.
