Taff's Well is a semi-rural settlement on the south easterly corner of Rhondda Cynon Taf, some 6 miles north of Wales' capital. The River Taff separates Gwaelod Y Garth from the 'Gates to the Valleys,' as it is known locally. Taff's Well is notable because it is home to Wales' unique thermal spring.

Having lived in Cardiff for 4 years and my friend for 30 years plus, we were amazed to discover the existence of this little gem of an attraction. A natural thermal spring constantly at 21C which was once a bathing pool and swimming bath. It is now the only thermal spring in Wales and one of only 4 in the UK.
