Dec 13, 2023 · Listening in Aware mode allows for greater transparency so you can hear external sounds better, and during testing we found it works extremely well. If you tick the slider for Bose’s ActiveSense processing too, this will allow the built-in noise-cancelling to intervene if there’s a huge, sudden jump in external noise.

- Eartip fit test. Settings > Eartip fit test. The nice thing about the Bose is that you can mix and match the different sizes of eartips with stability bands so you get the best seal and most comfortable fit possible.

Aware mode with ActiveSense allows the headphones to automatically turn on noise cancellation when sudden or loud noises occur near you, so you can maintain awareness without intermittent noise interrupting your audio.
