Original in French. Named after the saint venerated in Maastricht, a city of the Netherlands, imported worship, the golden age of Britain, when it traded with the North of Europe. Before the Revolution Saint-Servais was merely a chapel of the truce Burthulet dependent Parish Duault. The town was formalized in 1869.
