  3. Mar 27, 2024 · Re: Hmv gramophone identify. One immediately thinks "fake" when seeing a horn gramophone but this looks more genuine than many. The brake mechanism looks very like that from a 100 portable but others may be able to say whether it was used on early machines. The labels look a little odd though.
