The Void (2016) is actually really good imo. Hidden Gem. Was so confused at the more average or even bad reviews. Cause honestly, I think it’s one of my new favorites. Maybe it’s because I didn’t have any expectations going in? The characters are all really likable and some are pretty complex.

Overall, "The Void" is a good movie to throw on for a horror movie night with some friends who enjoy some good over the top gore and monster effects.
The Void is one of my favourite movies and I always recommend it to people! In terms of Lovecraftian stuff, I thought the recent "Color out of Space" was decent. "The Mist" movie also had some pretty cool monsters and I have to agree with whoever suggested "In the Mouth of Madness." Reply reply.
