Oct 9, 2024 · Turn it on, use server outside of US. Run manual update. Turn VPN off. Yes, it is manual process once a day, but much better than sitting on obsolete databases. Maybe that process could be semi-automated by some 3rd party script runner (this topic is outside of this discussion).

But it CAN cause a problem. This is very different than is. Automate anything and you make it easier to do things by accident.
