This might come off as an unpopular opinion to some but, I think Vadivelu is overrated. I agree that he was a good comedian and actor but, his jokes are over used and over saturated. His jokes are so saturated that now a days I don't find them funny at all.
Vadivelu is more of the Nagesh type, who makes the scenes funny by being on the receiving end most of the time. He made the mistake of joining politics when he was doing very well in cinema. That started his downfall.
