Does Serena deserve a character redemption? Question. I hate her too, but if she can’t be redeemed why is she such a compelling character? I love June, and she literally tore another human a part and we root for her (Fred absolutely deserved it btw). Serena is extremely self serving, but remember the episode with her mother?
The question is does that make her overall bad/evil or is there something redeemable left? In order to redeem herself, she would, first and foremost, realise her wrong-doings and regret them. Is she capable of this?
