The Oranienbaum is one of the smaller palaces around St. Petersburg and is a good place to make a half day trip if you've already been to Tsarskoye selo or Peterhof. For your information, visitors often see both attractions on the same day since they are only 12 kilometers apart.

Oranienbaum is a palace complex located in Lomonosov, a town near Saint Petersburg. When we came here (November-2018) the main palace was closed, so we only could see gardens. We walked, saw the garden and the views of the palace during almost 2 hours. Really, it is a very good place to walk, relax or come with children.
