It's just another topic to show the above mentioned human characteristics. Anurag Kashyap has done a good job in this movie. This is a good story and a nice screenplay.
Gulaal is one of the films featured in Avijit Ghosh's book 40 Retakes: Bollywood Classics You May Have Missed. Box office. Although the critics' reviews were favourable, the movie opened to only 30 percent capacity during its first week in theatres across India.
