Along with two incredibly underrated 90’s anime that both interested me. One is called Sanctuary and apparently it was animated by the same animation studio as Initial D and the premise sounds so good same with the art style. As well as Darkside Blues too another highly underrated anime film from the 90’s.

Darkside Blues (Japanese: ダークサイド・ブルース, Hepburn: Dākusaido Burūsu) is a manga series by Hideyuki Kikuchi. The story has been adapted into an anime film directed by Yoshimichi Furukawa. [1] The film was originally licensed by Central Park Media and then later licensed by ADV Films. [2]
Oct 13, 2019 · Darkside Blues is is a difficult recommendation. On one hand, it's very atmospheric and has a nice slow moody pace to it. On the other, it's borderline incomprehensible plot is going to turn a lot of people away from it.
