Cheat engine is safe the installer (last time i checked ) however has Toolbars and adware bundled in, if they still have it i would recommend downloading the Standalone instead of the installer.

But it will cause a false positive in your antivirus system due to how it works, as it injects code into other processes and other things that viruses also do. no lol.
