Avoid buying tickets from broadway.com. I’m sure if you’re subbed here you already know this but I just learned the hard and expensive way what a scam this website is. I truly believed they were the official and legitimate way to buy tickets for broadway shows. I even looked through some of the other ticket selling sites.
I haven't used Broadway . com recently but I've never heard of anyone having any issues with them. I have heard of Online City Tickets ( onlinecitytickets . com ) scamming ppl. They're the only bad ticket resale company I know of.
I did the same the first couple years I started getting serious about seeing Broadway shows - saw Hamilton, Something Rotten, and Fun Home by buying Broadway.com tickets. They do a really good job of not looking like a reseller!

May 28, 2024 · Just want to point out that Broadway Direct is NOT a reseller. It is the website of the Nederlander Organization, which is the second largest Broadway theater owner (after the Shuberts). The website has a page that lists each Broadway show, with a link for tickets.
