Sep 2, 2018 · It was until the 2018 Meteor Garden the most modern version of Boys over Flowers, but the acting really threw me off. Maybe I'm biased but I could not take Ku Hye-Sun's portrayal of Makino seriously. I loved her white Dr. Martens though... and her weird fashion sense.
