Apr 21, 2019 · I recently found a free antivirus software called Avast. I'm just wondering if it is safe to install and if it is worth it. If you can, please answer ASAP. My McAfee is running out. I have seen other users encounter BSoD (STOP) errors and viruses that made its way onto the PC. My PC is a Dell Inspiron 11 Series 3000.
Sep 9, 2019 · my "Avast free" antivirus program keeps popping up, telling me that my drivers are out of date it won't update the drivers unless i "upgrade" to a paid subscription. when i go into my computer's settings and and go to device manager and try to update the allegedly outdated drivers, my computer comes back saying "the best drivers for your device are already installed".

When i see it to uninstall from control panel but there is no icon of avast anti virus though there is an icon in my toolbar. Apr 23, 2022 · However, getting to know about Avast's driver updater feature, I think this may be an exception to this warning, as the software is an antivirus, not some random third-party source. It is also probably reliable as I tried checking out the same drivers on Device Manager and it isn't updating those drivers and claims the driver is on the latest version.
Jul 5, 2011 · call TP.bat /exit /waittostart /force GoogleUpdate.bat. Start /wait Avast_setup_free /silent /noreboot. Start /wait Next_app /silent. Tp.bat will run first and wait for GoogleUpdate.exe to start. This is usually about a minute into the Avast Setup, at which point TP.bat will kill GoogleUpdate.exe and exit.
