Dec 15, 2023 · I loved the climax and the last scene, but this was a very, very serious drama with little comic relief. Eminem could nail a comedic role if he embraced his late 90's Slim Shady persona. Just listen to his early lyrics: he definitely has a sense of humor. Be the first to comment. May 25, 2020 · Have you seen Bodied (2017)? It's a battle rap movie that features bunch of KOTD and Grind Time mcs. It's not as good as 8 Mile but it's worth a watch for battle fans.
The people of Detroit know 8 Mile as the city limit, a border, a boundary. It is also a psychological dividing line that separates Jimmy Smith Jr. (Eminem) from where and who he wants to be.

Things in Rabbit's life take a turn for the better when he later falls in love with Alex (Brittany Murphy), an aspiring young woman who dreams of becoming a model and moving to New York to start life a new. "8 Mile" certainly is a moving and very touching drama.
