We confirmed this to the Bing Team: PDF viewer supports a few languages right now when adding text.
Jun 19, 2024 · I did try to open the PDF file in Word directly and it recognized most of the tables pretty good. But I still have to correct all the wrong recognization results in Word, then copy the content into an Excel, and finally export it again as a PDF. This is quite time-consuming. It would be much easier if I can edit the text in the PDF directly.

Edge PDF editor problem with add text I use Windows 11, version 22H2 and Edge Version 118.0.2088.46. During the week-end I update windows and this Monday morning after trying to use add text on edge I see that the text do not appear correctly: there are random return to ligne in the middle of a word AND the last word of a phrase is partially invisible.

Jan 26, 2022 · PDF documents contain fields for all the components in the document and any software that can edit PDF files will be able to edit any changes you have made to that document. The only way to make a PDF document non-editable would be to use something like Foxit to save out the pages to JPG files, then recreate a PDF document from those files.
