We do not provide results in person, by fax, by telephone or by post. Theory exams - no re-marking. As of June 2022, we no longer offer the option of a re-mark for theory exams.

    To be elected to membership, a candidate must pass all parts of the MRCP(UK) and complete a form of faith. Once the form of faith has been received, verified and processed satisfactorily, election can take place. For details on how to fill in the form of faith visit the Federation website.

    Candidates who have been elected to membership can either obtain their MRCP(UK) diploma at the MRCP(UK) new members ceremony or by post. Candidates should expect to receive their diploma within 6 weeks of being elected to membership. However, timescales may vary. Please allow 3–6 months for delivery of the diploma to addresses outside of the UK.

    Following completion of the MRCP(UK) examination, successful candidates are invited to attend an MRCP(UK) new members ceremony at the RCP at Regent's Park building in London. Newly elected MRCP(UK) holders will receive their certificate from the RCP president at the ceremony.

    The RCP uses the 'signed for' service provided by Royal Mail for diplomas posted within the UK only. Diplomas sent to addresses outside the UK are not tracked and will be sent by normal post.
