Sadhguru (born Jagadish "Jaggi" Vasudev, 3 September 1957) is an Indian guru and founder of the Isha Foundation, based in Coimbatore, India. The foundation, established in 1992, operates an ashram and yoga centre that carries out educational and spiritual activities.
After graduating from college, he went on to become a successful businessman. A spiritual experience at the age of 25 made him rethink his life’s purpose. He eventually realized his true calling and went on to become a yoga teacher. He then opened the ‘Isha Foundation’ to teach yoga.
