Kumbakonam Ramabadran Ramasamy (14 April 1914 – 5 August 1971), also known by his initials KRR, was an Indian actor and playback singer who worked mainly in Tamil theatre and cinema. He was born in Kumbakonam and was active during the early days of Tamil cinema.
Dravidar Kazhagam is a social movement founded by "Thanthai Periyar" E. V. Ramasamy who is also known as Socrates of South Asia. Its original goals were to eradicate the ills of the existing caste and class system including untouchability and on a grander scale to obtain a "Dravida Nadu" (Dravidian nation) from the Madras Presidency.
