Harrington Sound is a large inland body of water in the northeast of the main island of Bermuda. It is surrounded by the main island on all sides, only appearing open to the ocean via a small channel called Flatt's Inlet in the southwest.
Harrington Sound is a wonderful inland lake in Bermuda surrounded mainly by Hamilton parish and Smiths parish. There is a small narrow inlet that connects this lake to Atlantic ocean, known as the Flatts inlet.

This area of generally good white rock is in the North- West part of Harrington Sound, just East of the landmark of Abbott’s Cliff. Access by boat, or a swim around 400m metres from the Trinity Church Road area to a rock island which faces a deep crack line up slabby rock.
Two public docks found along Harrington Sound Road and one at Trinity Road end. Good for small craft - dinghies, kayaks, small motor boats, rowing - and swimming. Snorkelling is fine but less variety in fish compared with reef snorkel sites.
