    • Black Canyon Park. A few miles upstream from Emmett, the Payette River is impounded by a dam built in the early 1950s for irrigation and hydroelectricity.
    • Tyler’s Rocky Point Orchard. A family enterprise, this orchard on the city’s outskirts has a beautiful location at the foot of the ridge on the southern edge of the Emmett Valley.
