  1. East Hartford is a town in the Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut, United States. The population was 51,045 at the 2020 census. The town is located on the east bank of the Connecticut River, directly across from Hartford. It is home to aerospace manufacturer Pratt & Whitney.

    • Pratt & Whitney Hangar Museum. On Tuesdays and Thursdays you can visit a hangar at the Pratt & Whitney Campus. Awaiting you here is an amazing collection of engines from the company’s earliest days to the 21st century.
    • Hartford. In East Hartford I gravitated towards the big city across the river for things to do. Hartford offers all the dining, culture and entertainment you’d want from a big urban center.

    • dfbf. Earth 181 contributions. Good for small school football. As a visitor, this was my first trip to a UConn game. The biggest problem is the quality of the current team, but this isn't a bad stadium for a small school located in a residential area.
