This water resistance is enough for anything you might want to do with your watch: Swimming. Diving. Surfing. Etc. We do however advise that after swimming in the sea (salt water) that the watch is rinsed under warm soapy water to remove any excess salt from the sea.

  8. That’s a really awesome photo! But just so you know, WR20BAR is not a model name. It’s just a designation: 20 BAR (200 meter) Water Resistance. Which actually applies to all G-SHOCKs. Some spell out Water Resistance; some just use WR. I believe yours is a GA-100. Should say on the backplate.
