It is now possible to use the same Nintendo Account on multiple Nintendo Switch units. Here's how you can set up multiple Nintendo Switch systems to utilize the same Nintendo login and what you can and can't do with this setup.
To add your existing Nintendo account to an additional Switch, simply create a new local account on your Switch with your preferred name, then complete the process by linking that account to your Nintendo account by using your login and password. You have to be online to make this work.
You need to know two things:
1.Your secondary Switch now has access to download your digital games from the eshop as long as you're connected to the internet.
2.If you're a subscriber to Nintendo Online, you can also access cloud saves for most titles. Just make sure your save is up-to-date if you switch back to another console.
Primary Switch
Aka: your main Nintendo Switch that you bring with you, everwhere.
•A Primary Nintendo Switch carries your Nintendo login and user account and can play any downloaded/owned eshop game while offline.
