Apparently, Jesus used the holy spirit that He received from the Father (Acts 2:33 read below) to prevent Paul and his companions from preaching in the Asian province of Bithynia, this indicated to them that they should concentrate their efforts to preaching in more productive regions.

To believe otherwise would require one to think that Luke was a Hellenized jew who was not circumcised, and Paul's reference to "of the circumcision" is a biological reference only and did not include jews who weren't circumcised - which is a bit silly, as Paul wasn't asking anyone to drop their pants. "of the circumcision" is way of saying "jewish".
